7 writers and authors you should follow on social media

Whether it is for inspiration, book previews, or advice on how to write, following a writer or author on social media can be a great way to boost your creativity – or get fantastically distracted!

Best-selling author, John Green, who has The Fault In Our Stars and Paper Towns on his backlist, is an author you need to follow on Instagram.

5.         Stephen King @StephenKing

He’s sold more than 350 million copies of his books, so it is safe to say that the king of the horror genre, can put a sentence or two together. Stephen King’s Twitter feed is a mix of topical news, his home life and TV picks.
